The Art of War by Sun Tzu

It's not just about war.  It's about how to win.  the similarities between business world and war are very strong.  If you read this book with that idea in mind, it will help you be focused on your goal and ultimately WIN.  It's a very good book on the importance of preparation.

The Prince by Niccolo Machiavelli

This book is about managing a kingdom/country.  the ideas are applicable to any government.  unfortunately, Machiavelli has a false reputation of evil.  Read this book with an open mind and remember that times have changed.

Rogue Warrior be Richard Marcinko

This was one of the most enjoyable books I've read.  Very engaging.  It alternates between business/management stories and army memories.  What I like about the book is the no-nonsense talk.
